Following today’s statement in the House of Commons regarding the Child Support Agency (CSA) local MP, Adrian Sanders, said;
“I have already called for the CSA to be replaced and today’s statement dodges this. People wanted to hear that there would be fundamental reform.”
The statement announced short term monetary recovery for the next three years and a review of the entire system will be made by the Liverpool City Council boss, Sir David Henshaw.
“There were indications that the Government were taking Liberal Democrat proposals to scrap the CSA seriously. Today’s statement seems to be half-hearted and certainly does not go far or fast enough.”
